Raised in Kannapolis, North Carolina, Mia Rice developed her acting skills at the age of 7 taking part in community theater and musical summer camps. Over the years she has starred in many roles including Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Ariel in The Little Mermaid, and Irene Malloy in Hello! Dolly. For her role as Irene Malloy, Mia received the 2019 Blumenthal Performing Arts award for Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for top 20 Best Actress the year before. She is currently enrolled in the American Music and Dramatic Academy in New York City
